It will solve majority of their problems. They will stop bleeding cash. They may regain competitiveness in passenger cars (when their cost are on par to that of their competitors). That's the problem......you assume they are bleeding cash because of their unions. Did you know that for the past two years, GM has been parking cars it can't sell in secured parking lots throughout Detroit? They could not sell them because no one wanted their cars. That's not because of the unions. Americans hate GM's cars. That's not because of their unions. GM's cars are considered stodgy and old fashioned.....more appropriate for a generic father, not for the average guy. That's not because of the unions. Do you see how blind your ideology is? You can't see the forest for the trees.
