I agree. And I think he's an Alabama guy, not a TN, isn't he?

Personally, I'm glad to see the guy stand up on the issue. I wrote my senators & congressmen a few weeks ago on the issue saying I don't one red cent going to bail them out unless the unions first make major concessions.

Most others who are paying attention I suspect feel the same way.

Sen Shelby deserves credit for being one of the first high profile elected officials to call for Big 3 to resolve their issues in the bankruptcy court...

That wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that Alabama has two plants by Toyota, Mercedes and Hyundai for which Shelby helped lead the charge through the provision of major state subsidies, would it?
