When the lendee's background is questionable, you charge him a higher interest rate on his loan payments and you make the consequences of default onerous. I have no problem making this a very businesslike transaction. Yup, that's going to save GM. High interest loan on top of existing debt, liabilities, and high labor cost... From your comments, it seems that you are less interested in saving the US auto industry than in giving unions a gift. LOL. Joe, you are all wired the same. I am fast concluding it is senseless to try and come to some kind of resolution with you. What I do know is that its best to do the opposite of whatever you all suggest.
