Past union membership is not a race. Agreed, but we're basically talking about Lake County in the northwest corner of Indiana where Gary is, right next to Chicago. When I found that article, I found more info. Apparently, Honda found a location outside of a normal driving distance from counties with high union membership, and justified the restriction by the commuting distance. I get it, the reason we won't interview you isn't because you're black or you worked 15 years for GM, it's because you live 180 miles away. At least that's a condition that can be cured.
