ASASIR the very bad numbers are calculated with the death birth modell thats overstating the numbers on the positive side in an downturn and on the negative side in the upswing, therefore even this ugly numbers may get a huge downward revision as the Sep/Oct numbers.

The mass layoffs should start in earnest only after christmas if the econmoy doesnt get better until then.

I got up this morning and turned on the radio as usual................heard the news and got up immediately to turn on the TV news...................then I realized I need to get to work so I'd better stop worrying about the bad numbers and get on with staying out of the statistics............LOL

I knew it was bad just based on commute traffic which seems lots lower these days.

What a sad Xmass for many.
