But then you have free healthcare. You have an exceptionally generous pension contribution. You have the jobs back, paid time off because you're having a bad day, and all manner of benefits that normal employees don't have.

When you add it all up it amounts to ON AVERAGE $130-150K/year, depending on what you do with past service costs.


Lets do the math. If a guy makes $14 an hour he makes (gross) $29,120 per year. So to reach your $130K he would have to get $100,880 in benefits, PER YEAR.
