gas at 99 cents. mortgage at 4% fica holiday, unemp benefits forever, mortgage principal slashing to lessen foreclosures. tax incentives for car buyers. All this and i havent mentioned the stimulus yet.

One thing that is going to soften the blow of the recession are the crashing oil prices. That's a stimulus that is already in place.

It'll help a little. Just shipped a pallet of 'stuff' from FL to Boston for $210. Probably would have cost about $500 six months ago.

But I think the die is cast... the re-enforcing cycle is in place.
