jim, i think you have that backwards. low oil means less money for our "friends " to recycle back into C and the likes

If oil keeps going lower and stays relatively low, everyone will soon forget about perfecting the electric car and other alternative energy and transportation ideas.
Sacrificing the future for short term gains is a losers game.
