JMO. I don't think that the Detroit deal is done. Roubini is preaching for a big restructuring, firing management and wiping out the shareholders. I agree that the restructuring will happen regardless. I think that BK is a much better framework for that. If the government sends Detroit $35 billion today, it will only delay the BK filing until June, and we would have thrown that much more of the future generations earnings down a rat hole.
