THe fork lift industry also seems to be embracing fuel cell trucks as well.
So Things are happening.
Personally I think the fuel cells should stay still and make power to feed EV's.
Govts need to print money to help all this tech become a reality.
I don't think we'd see too much inflation if new dollars went solely to get new tech's off the ground.
All the while it will create jobs and help to revitalize the economy

When it comes to electric vehicles the car manufacturers already know how to make competitive EV's. Just go and look at whos building and selling Electric folk lifts.

An electric fork lift only travels maybe 3 MPH and is never far from the charger, this is no comparison. BTW if given the choice most plants would chose LPG powered fork lifts, but often the warehouse needs to be heated and the cost of heating the additional ventalation air makes the electric cheaper even after battery replacement. I mention nuclear because you cannot economically manufacture hydrogen fuel cells without lots of electricity, nuclear is probably the cheapest way to manufacture lots of electricity.
