Make sure she closes the tops of her 4's so they don't look like y's before she gets into algebra. And have her make sure the horizontal cross-stroke sticks out so a 4 doesn't look like a 9. She should keep her pencil sharp and double-check her work. Division should be checked with multiplication and addition of the remainder. That will require more paper she can earn by walking up stairs to save energy instead of riding an elevator. LOL. I certainly will make all these suggestions. Including walking up the stairs. Joe
