Over the last three years I have beat gold handily in my PF. Very handily. I mean the metal... not the shares. Handily. I don't follow Gartman or anyone but the Black Swan :O). Gartman just happened to be on BNN to which I do listen. You recently used the Dylan line Don't follow leaders, watch the parking' meters... I've been using that on SI for YEARS. :o) Gold (the metal) is looking possible here for a Canuck .. Need to think about that.. Maybe just buy USD ? Yes I know all this inflation will come home to roost.. Then oil and fertiliser etc should be good too, no ? Nice rebound in the Canadian financials today.. Are they leading us out and the worm has turned .... :O) BTW ralphie you know very well that gold the metal was not a happy investment loonie terms when the loonie was breaking par.. And imagine that Sinclair said gold to the moon and the loone to 2X par ... Right LOL talk about having your cake and eating it too.. BTW as I recall you actually posted a link way back where he said that... Loonie to 2$ USD ?? Oh and yes I do have some gold... that I can actually hold onto... and car insurance and home insurance.. :O)
