I doubt we'll see it for December, but I wouldn't be surprised to see new claims hitting over 700K in mid January.

Probably propel the Dow to record levels, too. Amazing!

Ordinarily, one might think investors would figure out that people who don't have jobs, don't buy things from companies that need to sell things, in order to make a profit. Unemployed people also don't pay income tax and tend to default on credit card and mortgage debt.

Very strange.
