It may stink...but that's what we got :-)

Spx range 900 - 815 is a real bugger here.

QQQQ range 29+ - 26+ same deal.

Eva, mainly for that reason I do not play anything ST. I can't really anyway, since I am unavailable at times, for longer periods.

About the shortest timeframe I look at for a play is maybe a month, and I prefer longer. For example I currently have some Dec options, but mostly Jan's.

I also have noticed this market has not been kind on the shorter term sense. Awfully difficult. Todays rebound surprised me a bit.

I am still big short, but have two views. It tanks big and if so soon, or we are nearing a possible double bottom. If it is the double bottom I think it happens before Xmas.

Last AAII bulls/bears was a bit over .52, off of a previous low. Maybe another low dead ahead?

I have a possible longer term view in play that suggests a major bottom soon (the double bottom type of thing). Recently came across it ... will display soon but need a bit more data I think. It is much less bearish in the longer term sense, than the 'bearish' view.
