Threaders, IMO, the positive side of my previous post is--in the semi sectors wait a few months and acquire the great gains in the swings, esp. with the technology explosion.

This seems to be following the normal yearly sector cycle/response.
I'm curious how long the funds will hold AMAT if it drops below
$37. It seems likely that most of them would bail and take their
profits and wait till AMAT is at bargain basement prices again.
If a large percentage do sell, then the stock could conceivably
drop into the upper $20's. Hard to say at this point, it depends
on how strong the entire semi group is perceived to be into late
97.
