If it makes you feel any better I lost 4 figures on Calpine myself. Remember very well how California just decided to change their contracts, making ridiculous claims to justify it. To be fair, California really was being reamed by the energy traders, but the state set up the rules of the game themselves with their funky lawmaking. They were just playing the game against much smarter opponents.
