But you see, Al, the unions organized the workers and that was too much like communism and that scared the owners. That's why they left. I bet your dad never knew that. Its too bad Joe or I weren't around to tell him. ;-)

Take a look at the next suit you buy...chances are it's made in central america or indonesia or some such country with far lower labor costs. The unions would have to work for $5 bucks a day to save those jobs.
