Maybe they have got some hidden way of keeping wind out, but I couldn't see it. Colour me green with envy. It's strange to think that by a simple accident of history a few ancestors poked their fingers at a map and arbitrarily decided on New Zealand, I am now pretty much rooted to the ground, so to speak, because subsequent rooting meant my family is mostly here. Leaving would mean great disruption to social context. Which says a lot about the millions of people, and their lives, who have uprooted from around the world to move to better places, leaving behind their families and friends. Plenty are bailing out of New Zealand now because of crime, socialism's failed ideology, welfarism, declining economic status, and the cold climate as a final straw. As the vestiges of British Empire civilization decline in NZ, the country declines too. Maori war dances and mimicking Gangsta Rap are considered cultural icons. Crime and cultural nihilism are rampant. About quarter of the population has left, replaced with people who have little affiliation with Enlightenment ideology and many of whom are actual Islamic opponents who, if they get the numbers will make the place like where they left. Fortunately, there are so many Chinese crowding in, that Islamic Jihad has little chance, so we will become a province of Beijing in due course, whether we like it or not. We are the new Maoris, selling the place to the wealthy foreigners, and being subsumed by an empire which will NOT offer Common Law, the vote and the good things of the British Empire. Mqurice
