that money was much earlier in the year in the 'energy bill' when gasoline price were soaring....now that oil prices are collapsing, it sorta makes sense not to earmark that cash for companies on the brink of collapse for 'green cars' at this point in time, ya know?

It seems to me this is the best time to start making advances on green cars.....even put another small tax on gas to help fund green development while encouraging people to continue to use mass transit. We need to make hay while gas prices are down so when they do go back up....and they will.....we'll be further ahead of the game.
