Nikole, you are counting incorrectly. The question was, how many people the USA Empire killed versus how many the British Empire killed? Here it is again for ease of reference <The American Empire has killed vastly more people in pursuit of power and profit than ever the British Empire did. Count the dead in Vietnam and Korea for a start. Don't forget Philippines. Check out Iraq. >

You are counting how many other people killed a lot of people, which might be interesting for overall comparative purposes, but is irrelevant.

You completely ignored the question and went off on a rant about something else.

You are obviously confused. Also, is "Liberal" a general purpose meaningless insult like "MudderFudder" for the Rabid Republican Right or does it have particular meaning?

Now, back to remedial reading classes for you. It wasn't a question about self-defence such as in the war against Japan [which stemmed from blockades of Japan in response to the expansion of their Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere, so was also part of militaristic expansion of the USA Empire if we are pedantic]. Nor was it a question of which wars were ethical, desirable, unavoidable etc. It was just a rough count of deaths resulting from wars which had the effect of expanding the two Empires.

I suppose we should count the wars between the British and Americans because each was attempting to expand their Empire, with the British well under way [the American colonies being part of the British Empire expansion] and the Americans just getting going [perhaps we should count the deaths in the American colonies as being American Empire deaths rather than British Empire deaths as they went to support the American Empire rather than the British].
