You have listed singles not wins.

In the world of land warfare, shallow, temporary, and relatively insignificant singles project weakness and vulnerability, not strength.
Such are victories like the numerous Israeli victories.
Such victories are seldom a deterrent.

Napoleon learned that in Spain.
Germany learned it in the Ukraine.
The UK learned it everywhere else.

We still don't get it.
