I guess I'd have to ask him in response to that editorial if their intent wasn't to kill anyone, why were the bombs built with nails embedded in them?

At least that would be one of many question I would have for him.

In his rambling monologue Ayers implies that the McCain campaign came up with the word 'terrorist' to describe his activities in the 60s. Rod Dreher found a 1975 article from Time magazine that uses the word. I assume other print media back then did also.
