Two things are scary possibilities once the E&Ps break the T&Cs of the loans -

1) Some sharks try to use the banks leverage to get a large piece of equity at a very good price. Another version is where the bank panics, causing the E&Ps management to panic, and the go looking for additional funds at almost any price.

2) Even worse is someone at FDIC or Bank Examiners gets worried, and pushes the banks to grab assets, especially cash. This should be unlikely, but the economy may be in free fall
soon, and there may be a window between now and January 20 and when appointments are made where a leadership vacuum may develop.

There were some slip ups between the Hoover administration and Roosevelt, where the FED and the bank regulators could not get clear direction.
