Ford found out years ago, that 37 degree slant is the best frontal resistance reduction above 35 miles per hour speed. Hummer does not have the slant on the frontal shape.

Nascar grills and wind shields are partially slanted now. and may comply totally in the years to come. Commercial aircraft design is all in the nose cone slant and near skin air turbulence to reduce drag. Which hopefully will be studied on Nascar shape, drag reduction, design too.
