It is not perverse....What a thing to say. Do you accuse the people who had a problem with Hillary as being "perverse"?

Governor Palin holds herself out as a leader of the republican party. Her views, or lack theereof, are worth noting.

I read everything I could about Governor Palin during the campaign. I watched her interviews. I talked to friends in Alaska about her. I watched her campaign. I read what she had written (very little). I examined her work on the energy panel in Alaska and her work as Governor.

I found (find) her unqualifed for national office. I don't think she has the intelligence or the intellectual curiosity to lead, especially in the times we find ourselves now. I am strongly in favor of a conservative reemergence in American political decisionmaker, but if she is the face of any such counterbalance to the Obama style and substance.....forget it.

The republicans will be toast. But she won't get out of the primaries in 2012 (should she be foolish enough to run). Huckabee is already sharpening his knife and Mitt won't take prisoners then either.

If the Republicans ever intend to get back into power in some aspect of government they will have to move away from the divisive, social conservative oriented base that the Governor so clearly represents.

She is the democrat's dream candidate for 2012. Which should worry republicans. (and does, a lot).

"I suggest you query the Obama campaign for the similar costs of Michelles upkeep. "

There was plenty written contrasting Palin's wardrobe costs with those Obama and Cindy McCain. Remember, Palin's costs were borne solely by the campaign (RNC actually) and that was not true for the wardrobes and makeup of either Cindy McCan or Michelle Obama....(or Barack, Joe or John, for that matter).

Tin ear....

No need to 'query' anyone.

If public CAMPAIGN FUNDS were used then they will be reported on the F.E.C. Wen site exactly the same as the other side's. <g>
