There h/b cycles in storms forever. And we've only been recording storms for a certain period of time.

The hurricane experts say there is no material impact of global warming on hurricane activity.

That data doesn't show any trend in hurricanes, it does show some trending for storms, but only because of the increase from 82 to 95, but that's a rather short time period to base any serious climate change conclusion on.
