Why should I care where the money I buy gas with goes? Do you track where the money you spend on toilet paper goes? So long as I can buy stuff at market price I have no complaint.

I understand you want some of that money for yourself, but why should I give a rat's ass?

And I'm sure, just like trying to hammer me for being a 'trader' on the Cisco thread you will continue to bring it up ad infinitum. Perhaps you missed the grins in the post, I don't have a problem with getting off fossil fuels if 'I' don't have to pay way more for a car to do it with. You keep bringing up toy cars like the Tesla and Fisker that you seem to see 'all over silicon valley' even though the both of them together have released something like 100 cars. I keep bringing up the economic case for battery powered cars, which isn't there now and probably won't be for at least a decade or more. If a Volt costs 40k and has a battery pack that I have to pay 8 grand for 8 years later to replace, even with five dollar gas that isn't price competitive with a Honda Civic that costs 17k and gets 35mpg. So get over it already, would you? From you previous posting about Jaguar it's pretty obvious you know nada about the auto industry anyway.... And I don't work in petroleum, I make my living trading the markets...

I think it might be that green fuels are associated too much with democrats and San Francisco maybe?

You are fighting these macho "John Wayne types" when you talk like that Lizzie! :)
