Some kind of inflationary scenario is more likely than not. With all the stimulus being thrown into the system it's going take hold eventually and when it does the next problem will be slowing it down.

stocks are priced in nominal dollars
with hyper inflation everything rises vs a dollar including earnings
if your buck is worth less every hour you will do anything to get rid of it
the bull market in US stocks from 2003-07 was on a reflation as stocks went sideways in terms of gold
if the Fed is successful in reflating this time it will just be a bigger move than the last one
