LOL Sorry, to hold negative opinions about Obama's person or his motives is not to hate him either.

If I made up stories that he blew up frogs as little boy, that would be hateful.

Message 25210487

If I said Obama should be beheaded (already posted examples of that re. Bush/Cheney from this thread), that w/b hateful.

If I said Obama supporters should kill themselves, go to hell and burn forever (also posted examples from this thread), that would be hateful.

I can tell you flat out I think Obama is smart, well spoken, has a good family, is a "nice guy", but is none the less not well equipped to be President. How many liberals can say anything good about George Bush?

Frankly, saying that he's likely scared shitless at the prospect of being President, is a credit to him. He ought to be scared. First its an enormous job with awesome responsibilities. Second, Obama has no record of success behind him (as a community organizer, chair of the Annenberg Challenge, lawyer, or politician). Winning office and writing autobiographies has been his main achievements so far. If he's smart, he'd better be scared shitless.

The fact is his appointments have been pretty good.

I wouldn't argue that. Given that he's picking mostly Dems, they've been the better sort of Dems. But the people he's picked so far are not what he promised and ran on. Now how do you explain that? Frankly, the fact his picks so far are different from his promise support the interpretation in the piece you object to.

Hate is so ingrained in you, as if it's a legitimate tactic, that you can't see it anymore.
