I'm in the middle of researching the hell out of Bay...
In addition to checking their site and SI thread, I was wondering if you or somebody else could give me a quick 30 second drill on Bay (the company; not the stock) -- pros/cons, strengths/weaknesses; opinions... relative to 3Com, Cisco, etc..

Scrapps, in 87 I was learning computerized accounting - on an Apple IIe. Also used the Apple IIe for a small amount of word processing. It's a toss-up whether or not doing accounting on an Apple IIe was faster than doing it by hand, but it did help for accuracy, to keep the the books balanced.
