no, it was not a big issue. As opposed to obama's "faith" of letting Wright mentor him and professing "NO NO NO G** D*** AMERICA". and after 911: "America's chickens have come home to roost", most true evangelicals would have voted for Romney in a heartbeat.

I think making an issue about one's faith is absurd... unless it were some exotic religion that required some bizarre rituals that are suspect in Western thought...
