Sort of. What it has done is help discredit the wingnuts. And it is working admirably.


It would seem that given the Constitution's requirements, someone, SOMEWHERE, would check this out when there is some question about the matter.

I am reasonably certain this should be a non-issue and that Obama does meet the Constitutional requirements for the presidency. I just don't believe he would have concocted a scheme to get elected that included overlooking the finer points of what the Constitution requires. OTOH, he lacks any OTHER qualification for the office, so it isn't beyond the realm of possibility I suppose.

This will play itself out in the courts, the certificate will be produced and that will be that. It really isn't worth getting worked up about.
