The solution, I think, is the one proposed by Corker, which is cut the pensions in half. That would still leave the UAW retirees with far better pensions than many or most of the American taxpayers who are being asked to pick up the tab to keep the jobs alive.

It seems some people want everyone to sacrifice except the UAW members who have benefited all these years.
