LB,

So what? The average daily household water use is estimated at 350 gallons. Most goes down the drain with your toilet.

Or Shower. Speaking of which, this is what the same company sells:
freedrinkingwater.com

I think I am going to buy this one:

My wife and I live in a 4 bedroom home with a septic system. since the system was built to code for 5 people we have to use extra water to keep it active in winter. All the shower heads are now the low flow so when I bought new ones I drilled the restrictor part out. My shower will now skin a frog. Still have the old 3 1/2 gallon toilets.

I investigated toilets recently. Not that his is a subject for the heart but might mention here that Toto toilets have two flush toilet... AND they use very little water and are
efficient in one flush.

I am water sensitive. I lived in the V.I. Bill where the only water we had was caught from the roof, came down a 4 inch downpipe into a cistern . When that ran dry we were out of luck. They used these dirty trucks to transport water that had been sea water out to you and we did not want our cistern contaminated.. We had st rick rules on flushing and showering.
ALSo doing dishes.

The years of this and one becomes very water conscious and very conservation minded. I am still cautious about the water I use... It's precious. Here in Fl. the water bill keeps climbing every year as the darn developers make Jacuzzi and
swimming pools with no consideration to conservation...

Regards and how is the water in Hawaii..
