prompting Turner to charge: "Well, going into Iraq was naked aggression on the part of the United States."

Good! Turner made an ass of himself. Even the standard Lefties won't go this far in public.

Ted Turner started the lurch into irrelevancy many, many years ago. This is yet further confirmation.

Wish he'd elaborated on the KGB's "worthwhile achievements".

We have an FBI and, and, and, and, and we're not prejudiced against somebody who's worked at the FBI. It's an honorable place to work. And the KGB, I think, was an honorable place to work. And it, it gave people in the former Soviet Union, a communist country, an opportunity to do something important and worthwhile.

So it happened that upon the unraveling of the USSR the only large group of people who remained focused and capable of getting anything done were the KGB alumni. They ended up having a lot of power, and one of them - a former Colonel - is the big honcho himself, Putin. Since Khrushchev they were no longer an army of rootless murderers at war against their own people, that may be true, but they still remained a hard-arsed and very dangerous bunch.

State Security police in a criminal totalitarian state is an "honorable place to work"?

Turner is out of his mind... he's a total idiot.
