Re: "As you pointed out earlier a survey of McCain voters might find similar results."

Well... that's what Zogby said he believed that a poll would show.

(Of course, one will never known until/unless such a poll is taken. Zogby volunteered himself and his team to do one --- but the Talk Radio Host apparently has no desire at all to do it. <g>)

Re: "Arguably it just shows general voter ignorance, rather than particular ignorance from Obama voters."

Best... in fact the ONLY way to make a comparison between the two different groups (which is what Zobgy argued) would be to poll matched and scientifically sampled groups for EACH.

Or, to do a large enough sample of "all voters" so that the sample would contain a large enough representative sampling of both 'McCain voters' and 'Obama voters' so as to be able to scientifically compare the two....

a survey of McCain voters might find similar results. Arguably it just shows general voter ignorance, rather than particular ignorance from Obama voters.

Actually I thought the polls showed a measurably higher rate of ignorance among Obama voters. It also showed that people who rely on media with a particular partisan bias tend to be informed about significant facts.

For instance people who read the NYTimes might find me be to be ignorant about things partisan leftwingers find to be important at least until I have a chance to research the real story. After that they might misperceive knowledge which refutes their programming as ignorance.
