Your quoting of an article that started with "Its official" (and to a lesser extent you supporting the idea yourself later with another statement).

Perhaps the proper conclusion is that nothing is official.

Actually what is at issue is that you were caught making false statements and you are trying to split hairs again to prove you were not actually wrong. Get over it and drop it.
