I have never accepted the NBER....now or ever....as the article clearly states, the general rule of thumb on recessions is the one I stated...

I grabbed it from another subject.

What do you think about the appointment of Geithner? He is a senile old goat that should be retiring not being promoted. Look at is role in the financial meltdown of 2008.
