I have all of the info written down, and will be going over it tonight with hubby. Be prepared to spend a bit more on the first exam. I'm not going to miss the old dentist in the least. One thing I found out is he does an exam every time we go in for a teeth cleaning (every six months) and all of the others I talked to said once a yr exam is sufficient. This guy has been knowingly ripping us off for a long time. Sad part is, I worked closely with his wife in PTA. Our kids went to school together, were chums......shared birthday parties, outings etc.... I guess money is more important than friendship? I'm a business woman, so I understand, but he knows we've been without insurance since 2000, and could have said something imo.
