I don't remember sayig we didn't have to fight WWII, and since Japan attacked us and then Germany declared war on us, I don't see where where had a lot of choice.

If those things hadn't happened, there was no real reason for us to fight WWII involving our national interest.

I pointed out to you at the time that Japan attacked us. Your response was they didn't attack our mainland.

In all honesty though, if they want to know if I've been jerking their chain on this or that, they could ask me. I'll happily tell them. I'd love to discuss my and their views and why we hold them.

Well if you really want inode to discuss your POV with you, then you might refrain from calling his son a terrorist? or did you say he was anti patriotic for fighting in Iraq. ;-)
