Reminds me of liberal democrats claiming to cut the budget when all they did is cut the size of the increase. Legacy costs are not real because the newest employees do not receive them. Fine, stop paying them and see how real they are....

This "too big to fail" nonsense is the same snake oil as the financial "we have to do something and do it now!" crap. Anyone with common sense can see the scam a mile away.

Yes, let's apply your "logic" to SS payments: ergo, we divide the yearly amount paid out by the gvnment to social security recipients, that total, we divide it by the total hours worked by present workers paying SS, and voilha, we have the hourly pay of that mystery worker on the backs of the American worker.
