You have to give Meredith Whitney credit though. She was all over major banks making dire predictions 1 or 2 years ago, and everyone thought she was being hysterical. Citigroup down to the single digits?!? Unthinkable. Well Meredith did her homework on the finaces of these companies, and she called it dead on. Even when the market had sold off a lot this fall, she said they were still going lower because of their huge loan exposures. Good job sticking to it.
