In the last 35 years three IL governors have gone to jail- 2 Dem & 1 Rep.

A third democrat Governor narrowly avoided going to jail when he was acquitted in a jury trial. Stratton served in the late 1950's but was charged in the sixties.

As it stands it will probably be three Illinois democrat governors in thirty years in jail for corruption.
