Clinton fired the US attorney from there right before he was gonna indict Dan Ronstankowski and the MSM didn't care.

That's true but it will be difficult to duplicate. You don't even remember the name of the guy Clinton fired but everybody who matters knows the name Patrick Fitzgerald. This is the same guy who was lauded to the heavens when he pursued Scooter Libby over Plamegate, and he just arrested a sitting governor, who btw has more than a few ties to the President-elect!

Even for the MSM, it will be hard to dismiss either the story or Fitzgerald as run-of-the-mill. They will try to mute the story, but it's too big to spike. I think. I hope.

UPDATE. Just checked CNN.com. Blagojevich is the the lead story, with his photo in the top left side of the page, and this blurb below it. They even mention his party. How nice:

U.S. attorney: Gov. tried to sell Obama Senate seat
Democratic Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested today on federal corruption charges related to the selection of President-elect Barack Obama's Senate successor. U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said Blagojevich tried to sell the Senate seat in exchange for favors. Blagojevich also is accused of trying to get members of the Chicago Tribune's editorial board fired for criticizing him. developing story
