Nope....you certainly don't need permission...but that begs the question as to why...and what sort of mental disorder would induce one to respond to posts from folks you allegedly have on ignore? if you are putting people on ignore just to say you have done so while still replying, it just makes you look more than a little petty and juvenile..... Of course, petty and juvenile, as well as dumb, are SOP in your case.....
