I can still remember the day my dad took me to work at the L.A. Times building when they still had the printing presses in the building and walking along the cat walk as the printer explained the process - none of which I remembered. Just fascinated to see 3 stories worth of machinery. I do remember that he had to shout over the sound of the presses, which were painted green and the cat walk a bright red.
