I'm having a hard time reconciling the unalienable rights in the Declaration with your idea that they are subject to the arbiters of social harm, whoever, and whatever that would be... "Cohabitation between a man and a woman of different races was restricted by law but it was shown that miscegenation was not harmful to society or individuals, so relevant laws that would place restrictions on this type of relationship were likewise abandoned." I don't see how the two ideas are compatible. SD
