Any clue why he would pull something so stupid? God knows. From everything I know he's a "nice guy". I'm as perplexed by human nature as the next person. But we know power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It seems like a little power and a lot of ambition turns people corrupt/stupid. Well, the dude just fukked up his life big time. I wonder what he's gotten away with previously that made him think he could get away with this one.

If YOU see him as a "nice guy", and yet, he said what he said on the tapes we've heard, he's obviously one of the intelligent, successful sociopaths that rule us. They can look a person straight in the eye, convince even good judges of character they're sincere, while all the while lying their asses off and selling us down the river. We should really test all pols for this. Among other mental conditions. A psychiatrist could reveal them before they become governor or president.
