Where have you been the last two years? The man has worked his tail off to win the presidency. He put together the best campaign org. and best fund raising network in the history of political campaigns. It wasn't a conspiracy theory......it was American ingenuity at its finest. And he won by a landslide. The world likes a competent winner.

I didn't say he didn't work hard or hire a good campaign staff, although you have significantly overstated the situation. His campaign wasn't that good, as is reflected by the fact that he could not have won it without help from the economy and the most unpopular president in our lifetimes.

He is woefully inexperienced, which shows. I'm hopeful he gets enough centrists and Clintonites around him that he doesn't make a total mess of things, and I'm encouraged thus far. At least SOMEONE in the WH will have a clue how it operates.

I have seen nothing thus far that suggests anything one way or the other as to what kind of presidency we'll see. I believe his eyes are being opened on the wars and on other such vital issues as Gitmo and the economy. They're his, now.
