James a 1/8 stock can be shorted. Go see VLNTD or on SI VLAN, an IPO at 47 bucks in 95 today closed at 3/32. S--t head MMs out of Jersey City will play and long on a momentum stock like RNTK. God help us Bloomberg conf better be damm good and really people like Morgan and Salomon better jump in or we will get manipulated royally. Look at ATEC mothers shorted this sucker at recent high of 1 7/8 and yet they will keep it above 1 1/8 in order for it to through with the reverse split but on daily vol of 400 - 500,000 shares price never goes up. They can dicker with you for 1/16 spread and when they can trade 500,000 shares it adds up. At same token TPRO which has 750,000 shares short will now get a squeeze. Same with IOM as soon as it crosses over 31 - 34 range with 14 million shorts. But then again every stock is diffrent and if you look at APM with 49 % of the shares being shorted even though it has PE of 7.5 and eps of $3.5 it cud not get a short squeeze going at 35 and it now trades at 29 7/16. Its a wacko world. Like I said we have to have Texaco or big guys coming to buy. So far all the MMs participating in this daily volume is the Jersey City boys. Like I said if its real we will break over 2 3/8 and as soon as we clear that we will pass 3 then the 5 is next clear zone. Joe TPRO
